Our Story

When Steve Anastos, the father of our family, immigrated to America, he found his new home in the Bronx, New York. Specifically, he settled in the section known as Riverdale, where he lived with his wife, Bessie, and their three sons: Leon, John, and Jimmy. Along with his two brothers, Steve owned and operated a beloved local establishment, the Three Brothers Restaurant, located on Grand Concourse. It was here that the foundation of our family's passion for the food industry was laid.

Fast forward to today, the Anastos families continue Steve's legacy, now based in Endwell, New York. For over 20 years, since 1999, we have proudly owned and operated The Broadway Diner, a cornerstone of our community and a testament to our dedication to great food and exceptional service.

Building on our rich history, we are thrilled to introduce our newest venture: The Riverdale. This venue not only carries the name of the neighborhood where our story began but also embodies the values and vision that Steve Anastos cherished. At The Riverdale, we aim to honor his legacy by creating an extraordinary dining experience that combines our family traditions, love for quality food, and commitment to hospitality.
